Happy March!

Posted on March 11th, 2020 by Justina Soltys

Dear Spoon Full Farm Family,

The farm during this time of year is lively and vibrant in anticipation of Spring.

In addition to animal chores, seeding a variety of crops and watering hundreds of baby plants have become daily farm tasks. Soon, those small seedlings will produce an abundance of beautiful and nourishing foods. Sign up for a summer of bountiful deliciousness through our Spoon Full CSA from our whole-Earth garden.

Some farm tasks have even started to take longer, such as collecting eggs. Now that the days have grown longer, there is more daylight which means our chickens are lay, lay, laying more eggs and we can’t seem to have enough egg baskets to collect them in!

More exciting March news, we’ll now be offering a variety of lamb and sheep cuts, from chops to roasts. There is no limit to what you can do with lamb. Our grass-finished lamb is insanely rich and often very tender. We’re really excited to offer this deliciousness.

As always, if you have any questions (or have any fun new recipes to share using our beef and lamb), please feel free to contact us!

Love,

Spoon Full Farmers
