The end of February

Posted on February 26th, 2020 by Justina Soltys

Dear Spoon Full Farm Family,

Any visible signs of Winter on the farm are gone. The snow has melted to reveal tiny hints of green in the fields, and the days are getting longer.

Like Beets, our barn cat turned indoor house cat, we’ve been soaking up the sun and the ever so slightly warmer weather. Though unlike Beets, we haven’t been spending much of our days indoors, especially in most recent weeks.

We’ve truly been enjoying the hustle and bustle this time of the year. Installing irrigation in our fields for the delicious Spring greens we plan to seed next week, and in addition, working on building our newest greenhouse which will house our Lady Han peppers, the superstars of our Sun Sauce. Not to mention, seeding trays upon trays for our Summer season CSA.

Sign ups for our 2020 Spoon Full CSA are still open and filling up fast. Sign up soon and secure a spot for a summer of bountiful delicious health.

As February comes to an end, so does The month of Bone Broth, and our $4/lb special. Add a bag of beef bones this week and finish February strong with a dose of health by making your own robust, delicious and restorative bone broth in your own kitchen.

Love,

Spoon Full Farmers
