Spring! Farm Happenings for March 26, 2019

Posted on March 23rd, 2019 by Kimberly Decker

Hi! So much has been happening on the farm the last two weeks!  We have built a composted heated squash house (it takes team work around here!), both our large high tunnels have been moved to their summer locations, soil is being worked and vegetables are getting seeded and transplanted!  Busy Busy!

Special shout out to our new interns: Becca and Alex! (pictured with Curtis and Forest working on the squash house.) They have been here since the end of January and we love having them around.

Tomatoes!

(pictures 2): Tomatoes have been planted in our large High Tunnel (Everest) - they get blankets on the cold nights :)

Paper Pot Transplanter(picture 4): We have been having fun transplanting with our new (to us) paper pot transplanter. This is lettuce.
