FEEST. Goodbye snow, hello dogs

Posted on March 29th, 2019 by Mericos Rhodes

Dear Spoon Full Farm Family:

The newest entry in the Spoon Full Journal is about our partnership with FEEST (Food Empowerment Education Sustainability Team) - an incredible organization to which Spoon Full CSA members have donated hundreds of dollars worth of amazing food.

The partnership is a beautiful way to help provide delicious regenerative food for the people who most need it, to grow community.

You can read it here: https://www.spoonfullfarm.com/journal-2/feest2019

In other natural news, the snow has finally melted from the farm, and the garlic shoots are reaching up for the returning sunshine. Two new "Livestock Guardian Dogs" have arrived from Montana, to protect our chicken flock from the myriad predators (coyotes, skunks, cougars, eagles, ravens, and on and on and on), so that we don't need to set up and move portable electric fence every time we move the flock to new pasture. This means the chickens will be even safer and more liberated, all at once.

Enjoy all the wonderful food this week - soon (very soon!) the garden will be pumping out good green produce.

Love,

Your Spoon Full Farmers
