The last suppers of 2018

Posted on December 27th, 2018 by Mericos Rhodes

Dear Spoon Full Farm Family,

If your 2018 has been anything like ours, you are taking a deep breath, reflecting on big lessons learned, and looking ahead to a smooth 2019. One resolution we are making is to respond, rather than react, to the circumstances that emerge. Or better yet, to prepare, so that unfavorable circumstances don't have a chance to happen!

This brings me to a larger point about grass-finished meat roasts. A frozen roast offers you a chance to exercise some easy planning: first you have to thaw the roast, choose your recipe, set up your supporting ingredients, and then, finally, you have to give the roast a few hours to cook. This process leads to wonderful rewards: delicious food for a whole family that, depending on the size of the roast, may provide hearty leftovers for days.

That's how we do it, in winter. Happy new year!

Love,

Spoon Full Farmers
