Late April Happenings

Posted on April 30th, 2020 by Justina Soltys

Dear Spoon Full Farm Family,

Springtime - the time of year when the days are starting to blur together on the farm - seeding, watering, transplanting, repeat. Move cows, move irrigation, collect eggs, repeat. And to be honest, it never gets old. There is nothing quite like the feeling of excitement and anticipation when you go to collect eggs and open up the chicken coop to unveil a rainbow of eggs in their nesting boxes. Or watching the tomato seeds you just planted a couple of days ago grow into small seedlings which will soon grow to be taller than you (and come to feed many). Sure, the days seem to blur and it feels like an endless loop sometimes, but the growth of the tomato plants proves that time is moving forward.
