Happy Earth Day!

Posted on April 23rd, 2020 by Justina Soltys

Dear Spoon Full Farm Family,

Happy Earth Day.

Every day is Earth day in agriculture. As farmers, we are aware and hold close the symbiotic relationships of soil, water, and air.

When you eat food that was grown in healthy soil, you're doing more than eating in the most delicious and nutritious way, you're helping heal the planet. Our regenerative agricultural practices store carbon underground in the soil. We all play a role in this. Our cattle, chickens, compost, and your farmers. You do as well! Our soil is your soil, so when we're loyal to the soil, you are too.

Thank you.

We love you. Mother Earth loves you.

A couple of important pick-up information regarding your CSA shares:

~Members who pick up their shares at glassybaby: your pick up window for your CSA share is from 12 p.m to 5 p.m. Similar to past weekends, one of our farmers will be at glassybaby for the entire pick-up duration to hand you your pre-packed share.

~Members who signed up for Capitol Hill pickups: As the Capitol Hill Farmers Market will NOT be opening this Sunday, you can choose to pick up your winter share at glassybaby madrona from 12-5 p.m, for no additional cost OR you can choose to have your share delivered straight to your home for a fee.

Please email me (Justina) at justina@spoonfullfarm.com to let me know which option you'd prefer. If you have selected home delivery through Harvie, or if you have already expressed to me which option you would prefer, you can ignore this request.

~Members who pick up at Bloom Juice/Mercer Island: Our pick-up window for Bloom Juice/Mercer Island has changed, and you can now pick up your CSA share from Bloom Juice/Mercer Island from 12:30 p.m - 5:00 p.m.

~Members who pick up on-farm (on Mondays): your pick up window for your CSA share is from 9 a.m to 5 p.m

As always, do not hesitate to email me, at justina@spoonfullfarm.com with any questions you have regarding your share.

Treat yourself and others with care, and kindness. May our grass-fed beef and pastured eggs bring you comfort, nourishment, and healing to you, friends.

Wishing you good health and much happiness,

Your Spoon Full Farmers
