Lots of visitors this week!

Posted on September 28th, 2018 by Curtis Millsap

It's been a busy week on the farm, with visits from an ecology class from OTC, folks from the Darr Foundation, a video crew shooting a video for Old Missouri Bank, and a visit from representatives from Sustainable Agricultural Research and Education (we have had grants from them several times to experiment with new innovations on the farm).  Of course, at the same time, we've been keeping the weeds pulled, planting seeds (salad mix, radishes, and spinach), harvesting for CSA and Farmers Market, and putting on a pizza night!  I am certainly glad it's Friday!  The fall crops are looking great, and the napa cabbage this week are the first fruits of those summer planted cabbages, hopefully the first of many to come.  We love this time of year, when a new selection of vegetables start coming out of the field, which opens up a whole new world of recipes and flavors.  Remember, if you haven't signed up yet, there are three more weeks of summer shares, and then we'll start into fall and winter shares, so join soon, if you want to keep those veggies coming! https://www.harvie.farm/profile/millsap-farms

Thanks, See you on the farm.
