It's fall, and there's a lovely nip in the air. The tomatoes and squash are still cranking out fruit, but we'll see if tonight puts a stop to that... meanwhile, there are some new offerings in the shares; my favorite is the napa cabbage, which makes a fabulous slaw, using a light asian style dressing. I hope you'll try some of the daikon, and there are also some beautiful green beans from our friends at Elder Farms in Mount Vernon.
A few folks have asked about how long shares continue, and the answer is that they go until the 22nd of December this year, so another 8 weeks or so.
