Life after the Cold
That cold snap last week after the copious rain has certainly changed the look of the landscape. It's starting to feel like winter around here. We got to 16 degrees the other night here at the farm, which was enough to kill almost everything outside that we hadn't managed to cover. 1 read more »
About the farm
We're a big family with a small farm in Independence, MO. We have a passion for building soil, growing amazing veggies, and building a vibrant community of local eaters. Our Community Supported Agriculture program serves our neighbors in Overland Park, Lee's Summit, Blue Springs and Independence with weekly boxes of amazing veggies. We grow food for our members without the use of chemical pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers. We love eating fresh food and we love helping our members learn how to use our veggies to make amazing meals.
