Stock up on fresh ginger NOW!

Posted on November 14th, 2021 by Pam Dysinger
Hi friends, We have an abundance of Ginger, and we want to share that with you all! It is a seasonal crop and we won’t have it available for much longer. Ginger root stays fresh refrigerated for several weeks, but freezing the root is even better! Frozen ginger stays good for a year or more, and can be grated whenever you need some. Just remove it from the freezer and easily grate it while frozen. We use Ginger frequently in teas, curries, and in green smoothies. Ginger is very soothing to an upset stomach, and also has been used (as a tea) to relieve menstrual cramping and pain. Ginger is a warm, somewhat spicy food, and is good for improving circulation throughout the body. There are many more health benefits we could talk about there: but we just want you to know that we have lots of Ginger listed this week for you to purchase, and we encourage you to take this opportunity to stock up for the year! Once this is gone we will not have more until next Autumn.
