A final frost tonight????

Posted on April 20th, 2024
We're praying that it doesn't happen because the forecast for tonight is dangerously close to freezing.  Our farm can be up to 10 degrees cooler than the city, so a forecast of 35 could end up being 25 at the farm.  We are taking as many precautions as we can to cover outside.  The f1 read more »

Spring rush on the farm!

Posted on April 13th, 2024
It's the spring rush here on the farm! Dave is way too busy to write anything, so you will have to bear with a few lines from me (Sheri). We're digging out the irrigation pond

Posted on April 5th, 2024
If you stop by the farm this week, you might see some heavy equipment at work digging out our irrigation pond.  Over the years it has silted in and is getting to be so shallow that it can't hold enough water to make it through dry spells.  It never was very deep or very large, so we're ex1 read more »

Tomatoes going in the ground!!!

Posted on March 9th, 2024
Yes, the plan is to transplant hundreds of cherry tomatoes into one of our greenhouses this week.  The earlier we get them in the ground, the sooner we get to start enjoying those tomatoes.  Even this early, we probably won't be harvesting them until after the winter CSA season ends, so m1 read more »

Help Us Fill up the Summer CSA

Posted on March 2nd, 2024
We're 2 months out from the start of the summer CSA and we have around 100 spots yet to fill.   We're celebrating #CSAweek this coming week so we'll be posting lots of content on social media inviting people to get to know our farm.  Will you help us spread the word?  Just share1 read more »

Winter CSA Weekly from now on.

Posted on February 24th, 2024
Hurrah, it sure feels like we are past the worst of winter!  Spring is still officially 4 weeks away, but we've had an early taste these last couple weeks.  What a pleasure to be outside growing your tasty veggies!  The newest high tunnel is ready to plant and we are soon to begin pl1 read more »
