First Winter CSA pickup this Week

We’re really excited to keep growing great veggies for you this winter. The season starts Thursday and Friday.

just a reminder on how these pickups work: most of our delivery locations are fellow CSA member’s home porches.  At those locations, the routine will be for you to find your share (your name will be on the label). Once you’ve found your share unstack it from the others and take the inner liner bag of veggies out of the plastic tote. Doublecheck that this is in fact your share by looking again at the label (it’s easy to get mixed up and grab the one above or below in a stack so please be sure you aren’t taking someone else’s share instead of your own). Finally place the empty tote nested with the other empty totes in a stack. Please don’t take the totes.

Missed shares

because winter shares are dropped off for you to pick up later, we don’t have a way to collect missed shares. So if you miss your pickup time there is no way for you to get your share later (except for farm pickups because we’ll keep those shares in our cooler). If you know you won’t be able to make it, you can use the skip function in Harvie so we won’t make you a box that week and you won’t be charged. The deadline to skip is the customization deadline of 8:00AM Tuesday. If you discover later that you can’t make the pickup time you can send a friend to pick up for you or if you’d like us to donate it, email us and we’ll prevent it from being loaded on the van and will instead donate your share to our local food bank.

your exact pickup address and time will be automatically included in your Wednesday email with your final CSA selections for the week.  

If you can’t wait until Wednesday’s email, you can either look at your confirmation email from Harvie (which includes your pickup location) or can log in to Harvie and you’ll see your upcoming delivery date which will include your pickup location. All locations with addresses are below. I hope you can read them. 

Wednesday’s automated email will include your specific location, address and pickup time.
