The Summer Season is NOT Over!

But don't forget, we've still got 4 more weeks of delicious veggies headed your way through the summer CSA season.  The final pick-up will be October 7, 8, and 9.

The peppers are going crazy out there, so if you want to make some hot sauce, freeze a bunch of peppers, make your own red pepper flakes, you should go nuts.  The Shishitos are looking great with lots of sweet red ones.  The Italians are continuing to wow us....habaneros anyone?  They're gorgeous orange!  Also we continue to have lots of beans.  The romano beans are especially productive and succulent right now.  We're really running ragged trying to pick everything because, well, there's a lot to pick.  As the days shorten all the fruiting crops like peppers, beans, and okra start to feel the urge to rapidly reproduce because time is short.  That means, more picking for us and more yummy food for your plate.

Bread and Cheese

Cheese: Hemme Brothers Rubbed and Smoked Cheddar, 6 oz. block

Bread: Farm to Market Great Grains Sliced Loaf

Thanks for taking the time to know your farmers,
