Happy New Year!

Posted on January 1st, 2024 by Conrad Cable

We hope this email finds you well and filled with anticipation for the farm-fresh goodness coming your way in 2024. There's some amazing produce to share with you this week!

? 3 Board Farm Extravaganza! ?

This week marks a truly special occasion as we proudly present our biggest selection of 3 Board Farm products ever! These pasture-raised, regeneratively raised delights are the culmination of hard work, dedication, and a deep commitment to sustainable farming practices.

? Perfect French Breakfast Radishes ?

Our French Breakfast Radishes are in their prime this week, and we couldn't be more excited to share these vibrant, crisp, and peppery delights with you. They're a true testament to the season's bounty, and we can't wait for you to savor their unique flavor.

? A Warm Welcome to Our New Farm Share Members! ?

We're thrilled to extend a heartfelt welcome to all our new farm share members, especially those joining us at the Local Market/Shreveport Biscuit Company. With over 40 new members in Shreveport alone, our farm share community has grown stronger than ever. In just three weeks, we've reached full capacity by filling all 85 farm share spaces, and we now have more than 100 farm share members for the first time ever! We are incredibly grateful for your support and trust!

? Farm Update ?

Now that we have passed the Winter solstice, the farm recieves less sunlight than any other time of year. Sunlight mostly effects how quickly plants grow. A lot of our crops like kale, mustard greens, salad greens, and collards are continuously harvested over the course of the season. After the solstice, we always slightly decrease the portions of our leafy greens, so make up for the slower growing rate.

We want to take a moment to express our gratitude for your understanding and patience as we navigated a brief pause in our farm share deliveries. We're happy to report that Conrad and Franny have fully recovered from Covid. Your well-wishes and support meant the world to us, and we are excited to be back, doing what we love most - providing you with fresh, local, and sustainably sourced produce. Case numbers are rising, so please do your best to protect yourself!

Thank you for being a part of our farm share family and for supporting regenerative farming practices. Your commitment to sustainability and your enthusiasm for farm-fresh goodness inspire us every day. We can't wait for you to enjoy this week's harvest.
