Wow! Its hot for May. Some crops are growing very well in the heat, but others are really feeling the record breaking temperatures.  The ones that are suffering most are the crops that usually grow well in early spring- strawberries, lettuces, broccoli, cabbage, swiss chard, carrots. Did you notice the the unique flavor, texture, and color of the strawberries. They are unlike anything you receive at the grocery store.
