Fall Share: Week 4

Posted on November 30th, 2019 by Lauren and Craig Kreutzer

Today is Small Business Saturday - and we have so much to be thankful for! Being a member of Meadowlark Community Farm isn't just a convenient way for you to enjoy more healthy produce in your diet. You are directly supporting our small, organic, family run farm.

We've been reading through our survey results and are grateful for the insights that you all have shared.

The top reason for joining our CSA was: TO SUPPORT A LOCAL FARM. (89% of you said so!)

Comments on how the CSA has impacted your life included:
- It has broadened our experience with veggies and helped connect us to our community.
- Food tastes so much better!
- I've tried more new foods and eaten more vegetables than at any other time in my life. I'm excited about cooking, and I feel good about eating healthy.
- The CSA allows my family and I to experiment with produce that we would not normally purchase on a regular basis! We found new favorite fruits and veggies while trying new recipes with others.
- Providing fresh produce for my kids is super important and getting it from a farm I trust is wonderful!
- Its like Christmas every week, the veggies were fresh, delicious & lasted way longer than from the store.

Thank you for making us a part of your life! Growing food for this supportive community of eaters is fulfilling work, and we're honored to be your farmers.

This will be our last delivery for for the 2019 CSA season. We're working on planning for next season - budgets and seed orders, marketing plans and organization. Sign ups for the 2020 CSA season will open on January 6th. You'll be hearing more about this soon.

We hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving! Enjoy the coming Christmas season.

Your Farmers,
Craig and Lauren
