We're in deep winter mode here on the farm. We are spending our days planning for the 2021 growing season and our evenings enjoying cozy meals, lots of reading, and plenty of time as a family.
Last month's pop-up farm stand was a success, and we are excited to be able to offer one this month. Mushrooms are once again available from Hidden Valley Mushrooms. The order minimum for the delivery is $15. Please have your order submitted by 9am on Monday morning.
For some cooking inspiration, here are a few winter cooking highlights from our farm kitchen:
- French onion soup with a mix of yellow and Spanish onions
- Shepherd's pie
- Fresh sauerkraut with our breakfast eggs and toast
- Pumpkin bread and pumpkin pies
- Chicken soup full of veggies and minced garlic with a splash of lemon juice (so comforting and nourishing!)
