What a beautiful fall we've had! We're excited to share the bounty of the fall harvest with you.

This is the last fresh harvest from our hoophouse for the 2020 growing season. The spinach, salad mix, and super greens mix (a mix of spinach, kale, tat soi, mild mustards, beet greens and chard greens) are crisp and sweet. The kale and barese chard are incredibly tender. The baby kohlrabi and fennel bunches are delicious and adorable. Enjoy these fresh, local greens while you can!

In our kitchen, we've been greatly enjoying the brussels sprouts. Earlier this fall, I shredded the sprouts before sautéing them in olive oil. It is now my go-to cooking method. This Ina Garten recipe has you shred them with a food processor, but I slice them with a chef's knife. I've served them sautéed with leeks; finished them with cream, caramelized shallots, and tossed with rice; and even added them to scrambled eggs. The secret is to not overcook them. We would love to hear how you are enjoying our produce.

Stay well, and eat your veggies!

Your Farmers,
Craig and Lauren
