We've reached the shortest days of the year and this marks the final week of our CSA season. Do you have reflections on your experience as a CSA member this season? Send us a note! Let us know your thoughts! We truly value your feedback. Also, don't forget to stock up on storage vegetables and freezer and pantry items this week to help you get through these darker months.
What do farmers do in the winter?? We live in hope! As we slowly tilt back towards the sun over the next three months, we'll be busy order seed, planning our crop rotations, building new tools, fixing old tools, hiring our new crew, and planning all the details of the new growing season.
We'll open up 2023 CSA sign ups in early January so stay tuned for the details. Many of you are already set up to auto-renew so you'll have first priority and the process will be very simple.
Thank you for helping us create community, connection, and maintain a sense of wellbeing this season. You've given us so much wonderful feedback about how good food helps during challenging times. Cooking helps. You prepare food for yourself, for others, and you’re providing nourishment that goes well beyond the calories served.
Keep your spirits up, keep cooking throughout the winter, take care of yourselves and your loved ones, and we'll re-connect with an abundance of fresh food again in the spring.
