As we prepare for the final week of CSA Shares (your final box is scheduled for delivery on Wednesday December 21st), we're reflecting on this fantastic group of people who worked at Root 5 Farm this year. They worked together to prepare the soil, plant, weed, prune, and mulch, and then carefully harvest, wash and pack thousands of pounds of delicious vegetables for your CSA boxes each week. It takes hard working, thoughtful, creative people to accomplish all of this through an epic mud season, spring drought, summer heat waves, sudden downpours, and freezing cold winter conditions. We're endlessly grateful to each member of our crew for their good humor and hard work all season long. For challenging us, supporting us, laughing with us, and sharing delicious meals with us as we work through the complexities of growing food and running an organic farm business.
