As soon as we saw the 10 day forecast with nighttime temperatures in the 40's and 50's, we jumped on this opportunity to get peppers, summer squash, and eggplant in the ground last Friday. At last!! Warm weather!! The fruit trees are blooming, the peepers are peeping, and the bees are out pollinating. The farm was bursting with new life today. Asparagus finally started popping up, so you'll see 1/2 lb bunches in your shares this week. There will be lots more coming now that the ground has warmed up.
