Sheriff Bunchie on Bunch Patrol

Posted on July 16th, 2019 by Robyn Calvey

Hey Hey Hey Everyone!

This week there are a few bunched items in the shares and we have a special video message.

CLICK HERE to see SHERIFF BUNCHIE talk about how to store your veggie bunches!

All is well at the farm and HOT HOT HOT.  The crew has been starting at 6am each day to get everything harvested before the heat gets in the way.  The hot temps are great for the tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, cucumbers, and many other heat loving things but it REALLY needs to rain.  The dry conditions are making it very tough for the next broccoli (3 of 6 plantings) and we just seeded all the fall carrots and beets which need moisture to get growing.  Lettuce isn't a fan of the heat but we hope that the heat tolerant varieties that we grow will pull through.

We are still busy planting, harvesting, weeding, watering and everything in between but overall this season is proving to be a happy one at the farm.

Thanks again for your support!

Until Next Thyme-

Robyn (aka Sheriff Bunchie)
