Farm Happenings for July 23, 2020

Posted on July 21st, 2020 by Emily Tzeng

Its late July on the farm and we are really starting to see lots of abundance! Harvests are getting heavy and we finally have tomatoes to share! We have a limited amount of cherry and salad size tomatoes available in this week's harvest, much more to come. We also have planted a lot of winter veggies this week and will irrigating around the clock during this hotter than normal week. A couple new herbs are also available this week, including green coriander! These are immature seeds of the coriander plant and have a bright, citrusy flavor. And, by chance, one of our favorite food writers Samin Nosrat published a NYT article highlighting green coriander last week!

Lamb available:

We also have opened our deposits for our popular grass fed lamb! Lambs will be available whole or half in late 2020 and custom cut to your preferences. Our animals are rotationally grazed on diverse pastures for the health of the land and animals. We do not use antibiotics or hormones in our meat program. For more info about our lamb and to place a deposit, please see our website here
