I had someone lined up to loan me enough to cover building out the minimum needed at the new space. I found out yesterday evening that his wife was in a serious accident.

Everything is finally moved! Including the 53 ft trailer load of cardboard that I noticed sitting in the Woodford Logistics parking lot. All the strawberries have been dug up! I've got two more loads of stuff to transport and two trailers to move, and then I'll be off the old property entirely! The crew celebrated by making flower crowns on the last day :D

We had two weeks of beautiful dry weather, leveled the spot for the shipping container at our new property, and it started pouring a half hour before the truck was supposed to show up.
*facepalm*

Still no word from the judge... but we're over halfway through digging out strawberry plants, and I really hope we can finish by the weekend. Farm Happenings for October 7, 2020
We're in a bit of a weird spot in the season - it got cool so fast that most of the summer crops have stopped producing, and the fall root veg hasn't fully come in. So things look a bit sparse this week, but we should have more variety in the coming weeks.
