Guess what we harvested this week?? ZUCCIHINI!!! There still aren't enough to include them on CSA yet, we only got about a dozen, but they should be included very soon; hopefully in two weeks when we should also be getting cherry tomatoes. Things are really starting to change and the crops in the field are noticeably bigger than they were earlier this week. It won't be long until there is an overwhelming amount to be harvested every day.
But here is something I need to make you all aware of: Strawberries are in shares this week! Those of you picking up today (5/17) and tomorrow (5/18) will be getting yours then, Every body else (Tuesday- Thursday Pick up days) will be getting your this coming up week. Strawberries will not be included in this email as an item that will be in your box because we are distributing them two different delivery weeks. I will make a few extra available for purchase however. I want to make sure you are all aware of this.
