Spring is Here!!!! The cows are all out to pasture now, we finished working the bulls this a.m. and they are eager and ready to go too!! They were not happy to go back to their pasture. They don't get to go until next week.

Farm Happenings for March 19, 2024
What a great week. The weather feels like spring. Lots of things growing in trays and
we are going to start the hoophouse planting this week.
Today we have freeze dried candy onions. Powder or pieces. They are wonderful to use in
everything.

Have just about got all the fall planting done. A couple more days and it

We are sure enjoying this fall weather. Just got our first freeze a few days ago. Now we are trying

About the farm
We are a small family farm in NE Oregon. We grow a large selection of vegetables, our own frozen beef, free range eggs, in addition to fruit, local honey and other items from local producers. Our gardens are on a southern slope which gives us excellent growing conditions. We irrigate with water from a spring and use a drip system which allows us to give the plants what they need and not waste any water. We do not use any chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides. We do not knowingly plant any GMO seeds or plants.
