The cold mornings have not been good to the greens, so we won't

We are offering some fresh fruit from California this week. My niece and her husband have orchards that
they buy from every year and bring to Milton Freewater and Walla Walla. We will have this for the next 2 months

What a beautiful Indian Summer and Fall we have had. We got most of the garden stuff
done for winter, still need to put plastic on a hoop house. The cows are worked and we started

Just 2 more weeks and the summer season is over. Sure seems
like fall came quickly. It almost feels like snow out there this evening.

I love this time of year when summer season is blending with fall season
and there is so much harvesting at once. The colors and varieties are awesome!!!
We are getting more winter squash and soon it will be pumpkins, still lots of tomatoes
and summer squash and lots of colors of peppers!!

It sure felt like fall today!! I wasn't really ready to give up on summer but

This is one of my favorite times of the year for the garden. Lots and lots of things are
ready at the same time. Which also makes it one of the busiest too.!!!
