We're preparing for the heat wave this weekend, uncovering greens and running the irrigation to give everything a good drink before the high temperatures hit. As we wind down asparagus harvest we're shifting over to zucchini and yellow squash. Both of these crops have an intensive harvest schedule, they need to be cut every other day. We time our plantings so they don't overlap too much and the workload is more manageable.
