Winter Storage Share #2

Posted on January 31st, 2019 by Robyn Calvey

Hello and Happy Final Delivery!

It is education season here at the farm.  Time to plan, learn, reflect and of course rest!  This email is coming to you a day early because tomorrow, I will be hitting the road to attend the Organic Vegetable Production Conference in Madison.  I am on a panel with another farmer (Trica from Luna Circle Farm) talking about using data on the farm to make decisions.  We collect LOTS of data at the farm.  From planting maps to harvest logs, there is a form for everything we do.  Not only do we need this information to maintain our organic certification, we need this info to make decisions on the farm.  I will be sharing our experience with Harvie and how we are able to give appropriate valued share to our members each and every week thanks to its fancy algorithms even though every person's share is different.

This is the official last delivery of the 2018 season vegetables.  We are so thankful for all of you who have stuck with us through all the seasons and we hope to grow for you again next (this!) season.  In only 4 weeks we will be starting the first seeds in the greenhouse and believe it or not, spring will be here soon enough.

If you haven't sign up yet for 2019, here is a direct link to the sign up page.

Thanks again and STAY WARM!!!!
