Meat Orders for March 22, 2021

Posted on March 13th, 2021 by Tim Vrieselaar

Our beef has arrived.  A full beef is a lot of meat!  Good thing we had our  new shelving all set up and ready to go.

There is a Farmer's Wife saying...if you husband asks for your help for a "minute"....your whole afternoon is booked!  As I was helping Tim sort it out this afternoon...it suddenly struck me...and we shared a good laugh!  But hey, I am not complaining at all.  It was actually very peaceful to work together sorting the meat...all while listening to the kids having loads of fun in the sunshine outside.  Little Abigail is 16 months and we can hardly keep her indoors.  She loves being outside and playing with the dogs and cat.

For the beef...your prices might look a bit high...but we have taken all the prices for a cut and set the price as the largest cut (so most costly). Then when we pack up the orders...we will do the math as we go...and fill up the value with smaller cuts to give you the full value of your share.  It is very hard to set the prices because of the size fluctuation that comes with meat.  Hope that all makes sense to you.

The cuts this time around are smaller...so we should be able to keep a nice variety in your box.

Thanks for riding with us as we jump the loops of the meat share.  It is a learning experience...but I am actually enjoying it!

Wishing you all a wonderful week...don't forget to change your clocks tonight~!
