Farm Happenings for November 30, 2020

Posted on November 26th, 2020 by Tim Vrieselaar

Greetings from the comfort of our homes!! My house stays busy and active regardless of lockdowns....but we truly hope that you are all doing well and finding things to do to keep busy at home.  To all the other moms out there....here is a virtual hug!! (and a picture to bring you a smile:) I love my children dearly...and I really feel bad for them again being sent home from school.  The teenagers will miss their friends...but thankfully for us ...they have lots of siblings to play with and there's no reason to be bored on the farm.  I am sure it is not easy for families living in the city!  And a do feel for you!

We are half way through the winter season.  And we hope you are enjoying the variety at this time of the year.  It is not as exciting as in the summer...but it's still nutritious food to keep you and your family strong and healthy. We are considering starting up our delivery early in the New Year.  We would love to hear from you...are you interested in getting local food delivered to your home through the deepest part of the winter?  Do you want to skip the grocery store and stay safe at home?  We have opportunity to add meat to our deliveries (beef and pork) and are looking into organic dairy products and artisan bread products.

Shoot us an email and let us know if you want to see our program start up again in January and any items you would really like to see added to the availability list.

And coming up really soon on your farmers to do list...the seed order for next summer.  We are eagerly awaiting the seed catalogs for next year and will be happily pouring over them during the cold winter nights.

We look forward to hearing from you!!

Take care... stay safe!
