NOTICE!

UPDATED>>>HAIL STORM SATURDAY NIGHT

We are hurting today as we look at our gardens.  After watching them grow so well this year and starting with so many wonderful crops we have seen alot of destruction from a hail storm Saturday night.  Our farm was basically undamaged..but a quarter of a mile off...on the gardens..we got a pounding!  There are many damaged or destroyed crops and only time will tell which ones will survive and still produce and which ones are done and gone.  Thankfully we had harvested lots on Saturday so the cooler was full.  But that will only last so far and then we will see a drop on what we can supply you.  I am afraid you will be seeing some changes in your baskets in the next few weeks.  We will continue to do our best to supply your veggies....but please bear with us as we go through the ups and downs of growing vegetables in Alberta.

This is the first damaging hail storm that we have seen in 7 years!  For so many years we have been spared from this loss...and now we again see how small we are and how we do not control the weather.  We will clean up the gardens as good as possible and hope that the plants have strength to recover and still produce.

Please do not expect your label to match what you actually get in your basket this week.  We will substitute as we need to this week.  Please try your best to use any swapped items that you are given this week....

Thanks again for your support of our farm!! Especially in the hard times!
