Summer Solstice and scapes 2022

Grandmother moon waxed large for the Strawberry moon a week ago. Now Summer solstice greets us with the longest daylights of the year.  Asparagus season is almost over, and we now begin pruning the tomatoes and cucumbers. At press time we're grateful for rain Monday night. We planted sweet potatoes, turnips and kohlrabi on Saturday, and they appreciate the moisture.
