Farm Happenings for December 16, 2021: Last share of the year!

Posted on December 13th, 2021 by Emily Tzeng

We have finally made it to the last week of the season! 28 weeks of nutrient dense produce from our little farm in the Puyallup Valley! Thanks so much for joining us this season!

Sign ups for next season will begin sometime next February, so keep an eye out for those emails. We will send out a short survey about the season to help us plan for next year and would really appreciate if you can fill it out promptly.

Our farm team is excited for winter break! One of the bigger perks of farm life is that there is a defined break over the winter and everyone is able to rest up, take long trips, and dream about the next season.

For us, we will be prepping for spring lambs, mucking about in various farm spreadsheets to plan the next season, and repairing all of the things that broke over this past year. We are also hoping to begin work on building our house, so maybe by this time next year, we will have indoor plumbing and all those other things.

We hope everyone has a restful winter and enjoy these dark winter days!
