Believe it or not, our lettuce will be coming from the field this week!  This is likely the last week and then we move into our unheated hoophouses for lettuce and salad mixes.  Our greenhouse crop is looking good too but we probably won't harvest in there until Christmas. Some early snow on the farm, but we are still pulling a lot of veggies out of the field.  For a lot of items that are a bit cold sensitive (like swiss chard and choi) this is likely the end of outdoor harvest for them this week.  But we have plenty of stuff growing strong in our greenhouse... read more »
