Farm Happenings for July, 2019

Greetings CSA members!

Happy summer and happy eating! We hope you’ve been enjoying our grassfed goodness. Whether it be for breakfast or dinner, we love feeding you! 

Here on the farm, we have been busy with the abundance that summer gives us. We are grateful that our animals are healthy, for the rain and sunshine, and the good work we get to do every day. 

An abundant farm means a well-stocked freezer and we are so excited to offer some new pork and lamb products! Fresh from the butcher are our frenched rib racks, lamb neck, lamb osso bucco, lamb shoulder roasts, baby back ribs, andouille sausage, breakfast patties, hot and mild lamb sausage, and more! Be sure to set your preferences for all of our new product! And remember, don’t set your preferences too strictly to ensure you get a good variety. As we are a small farm, certain cuts will run out from time to time and we want to make sure you get your second favorites when that happens. You can always add variety by swapping items before Sunday at 8pm. Swapping items on your computer lets you see the value of the items being swapped, whereas mobile swapping doesn't. 

And, as a small farm, we are so thankful for each one of our members. We have grown our meat CSA by 18 members this season and are ready and excited to keep growing! If any of your friends want to join, be sure to refer them through your profile to get a $25 credit. You can find this under the “refer a friend” tab on the left side of the home screen. 

We'll see you all next week! Don’t forget to bring back your bags, we'll reuse them! Pro tip: Some members bring their own coolers to pick up and don’t even need the bags.
