This week hasn't been to bad with the heat, but the previous weeks have had us all wilting! Our lettuces have really taken a hit. I am not sure if you have noticed, but you most likely have, our Spring Mix taste a little bit different. Lettuces do not like hot temperatures and growing them during the summer months can be a challenge. Excessive heat, even with regular watering, will cause them to flower and have a bitter taste. Due to the heat we will not have any spring mix for a few weeks. But don't worry, we will have it soon!
