They survived!
The greens that we planted the first week of October and covered this fall made it through the cold and the freezing temperatures.
This is the last week of the fall share so we are happy to send you the last of the greens for the year. (If you are also scheduled for next week we are sending both boxes this week.)
You'll get various combinations of young greens:kale, Chinese cabbage, lettuce and boy choy.
Without as much warmth and the sun, even protected under plastic, fall greens don't get as large or as mature but the flavor will be tender, fresh and sweet.
I hope you enjoyed getting six more weeks of vegetables!
