Farm Happenings for June 15, 2021

Posted on June 11th, 2021 by Val Tachenko

It is definitely stock show weather this week, just without the rain for us.

The picture is something the grandkids brought in and left in a jar on the table.

A couple of days later it turned into this.  Thankfully I saw it before they all escaped the jar!!!

Can you guess what it is?  I sure learned something new!  Mainly don't let the kids leave open

jars on the table!!!!

We are picking baby chard and kale this week.  Will have a limited amount to start with.

Zucchini are really starting to produce and the radishes are getting close.

We will have several kinds of cherries this week.  The garlic is putting out scapes so we will

have some of them next week.  So good as a pesto.

We will be planting the pumpkins and melons out this week and then the greenhouse will be

pretty much empty!!

Have a great week end!
