Something Looks Different this time!

Posted on August 13th, 2021 by Lilly Emendy

So you may have noticed that your shares are only about half full this week. This is because for the last two weeks of our Summer CSA share we are highlighting the amazing, local, small business who make tasty, nutritious, and well-loved food products for your enjoyment. These folx work hard to refine their recipes, share the love, and feed the people in their hyper-local community. Among them are teachers, caretakers, spouses, allies, activists, herbalists, and neighbors. So THIS week, you get to swap one (or more!) of their products into your share just like they were a pint of cherry tomatoes or a pound of eggplant.

For Example:

If you get a Regular sized share (valued at $20) and it currently only has: 1 garlic, 1 eggplant, italian, 1 cherry tomato and 1 thyme bunch... that means you have ~$10 of value to add in a bag of granola ($9), or a loaf of sourdough ($5-7), or pickles ($10), or jam ($4) or elderberry syrup ($10) or coffee ($11) and any combination of those items OR swap in extra veg if that's what you're interested in.

I know not all of you customize your share each week, so if you haven't by monday morning, I'll reach out and make sure you know how to if you want to. Also, don't hesitate to reach out before then if you have any questions! Just reply to this email and Ill get back to you asap.

Here we go! It's the tail end of a long, hot summer on the farm and we are going out with a splash!
