Greens, plants and volunteer opportunities

Posted on April 23rd, 2021 by Lilly Emendy

Wow wow wow! What a beautiful and wild first week that was! We have officially broken into the Spring season and we are EXCITED to be providing food for you and your families. What a heart-fulfilling experience it was chatting with you for even just the briefest moments on Wednesday. It's only going to get better, y'all. Good things are coming our way.

If you (and even your little ones!) are interested in helping us out on the farm, check out our signup genius and 3-4 weekly open volunteer sessions. NO experience required and we love to customize the experience to what you'd like to learn, so sign up, show up, and let us know what you're fascinated by!

Check out or supremely delicious add-ons this week like PaleoLove's Blueberry Bliss granola, made in small batches and is what fuels this farmer from sunrise until lunch! I love it. Also, the sugar-free Golden is a favorite around here. Each purchase helps a local food producer and helps us further our goals of engaging with our community and teaching farming.

Also, we will have plant starts available every week, so if something got nipped in the cold, or you want to keep growing as you cut back tired plants and make space, keep us in mind. We will have some available each Wednesday as a part of your share and if there are extra each week we will have a Friday pop up opportunity to purchase as well.

On the harvest horizon... spring onions, strawberries, kale, japanese salad turnips, and lettuce heads!

Happy growing,

Lilly, Nallah, and Becca
