Greens, honey, and plant starts!

Posted on April 16th, 2021 by Lilly Emendy

We are buzzing with anticipation for next week's first harvest and pack day! We have vegetables slowly but surely coming in and honey that tastes like sunshine and nature ready for y'all. Not to mention the big star if the season... PLANT STARTS! Each week we will have seasonally appropriate vegetable, herb, and flower starts available for you to add-on to your share or replace some items in your box if you'd prefer. We have been diving deep into the health of our soil this spring and a part of our strategy moving forward is a weekly application of freshly brewed compost tea. If you're interested in learning about it or seeing how it's done, email me and Ill let you know when it'll be happening on the farm. It is incredible how you can see the vitality boost in only 24 hours!

On the harvest horizon... spring mix, spring onions, strawberries, kale, and lettuce heads!

Happy growing,

Lilly, Nallah, and Becca
