Once again, this year we'll start offering bread from Diamond City Bread. With the stored veggies running low we will be bringing back bread for a short time. It is freshly baked the day of delivery. If you really like the bread you receive and can't wait to get more, I highly advise you stop on by Diamond City in Elk River and check out their full selection.
---- Pullets are introduced to the Hens ----
We have another batch of chicks coming in this week so it time to evict the pullets. We introduce them slowly so that the pecking order is not overwhelmed with newcomers. It is normally a bit rough at the beginning but after a week or so they find their spot and begin their journey as laying hens. If all goes to plan the pullets should start laying eggs in May and bump up those egg numbers just in time for summer.
