Trumpeter Swan Farm CSA News - Winter Season, Week 38&39, Delivery February 22 thru February 24
---- Seed Shack Planting ----
We planted green onions and radishes out in our seed shack this weekend. The green onions are normally harvested starting July until the end of the growing season. These green onions need a lot of time to develop, so we start them really early. As for radishes these are special greenhouse radishes that spend their lives indoors in our greenhouse. The radishes don't get very large, but they remain very tender because they don't have to deal with the elements of being outside. Hopefully they we will start harvesting them sometime in April.

We will automatically sign up our members for the Summer Season at the end of this month. You will get the usual notification and option emails prior to auto-renew. I'll be updating your Harvie Balance to reflect credit for unused space and skipped boxes from the first half of this season. You'll be able to use any credit to pay for part of your Summer Season.
