Trumpeter Swan Farm CSA News - Winter Season, Week 28&29, Delivery December 13th thru December 15th

This week and last week we continue work on winter projects. Depending on the weather we work either outside or inside. Outside we are working on our high tunnel, the one that blew over. Finally getting a chance to start cleaning up and start cataloging the broken pieces. Inside work is still seed shack/greenhouse oriented. Doing maintenance of burnt-out lights, cleaning, and updating. This year we are trying to get it nice and sealed so that we can hopefully start plants earlier and get them into the field quicker. It always seems like a uphill battle trying to make summer season veggies come earlier: tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, and summer squash. But every year we seem to do a bit better.
