Trumpeter Swan Farm CSA News - Winter Season, Week 36&37, Delivery February 8 thru February 10

---- Vacation Time ----

Ian and Angie are on a well-deserved vacation break, leaving Phil and Kathy to hold down the fort. We will do our best to get it right. Don't hesitate to point out any mistakes, we'll figure it out...

---- Move Out Winter Squash ----

Its time to move out the remaining Festival Squash. Everyone who likes (or sometimes likes) winter squash will get some this week. It's not as sweet as it was last fall, but just add some maple syrup or brown sugar.

---- Honey Shows Up ----

We are now bottling the honey we collected last fall. It will be in the swap area for adding to your box. Helps keep things interesting when variety of storage produce is dwindling. Remember to return the jar and lid (no need to wash). Jar and lid costs us $2, so each time we can reuse a jar, its money saved by the farm to use for other purposes.

---- Summer Signup Coming ----

We will automatically sign up our members for the Summer Season at the end of this month. You will get the usual notification and option emails prior to auto-renew. I'll be updating your Harvie Balance to reflect credit for unused space and skipped boxes from the first half of this season. You'll be able to use any credit to pay for part of your Summer Season.

Thanks,
Phil.
