Howdy All,
Hope this finds you doing well. This week on the farm we are thankful for our prolific red noodle beans and okra that help keep the summer months afloat with a bit of variety. As some crops like these require little oversight, others have been battling to stay alive after the most recent army worm invasion. We are hopeful that the foliage will make a good recovery once the army gives up the fight. As you probably noticed, last week I failed to leave the recipe cards in the cooler for pick-up with your CSA bag. This week though we promise to remember and have a couple exciting recipes for red noodle beans and eggplant, as I'm sure you've had to get creative with the latter vegetable. If you'd ever like to share a good recipe you've found with the rest of the CSA community, just send it our way and we'll be sure to spread the word.
