The tomatoes, purple peppers, and beans continue to crank out fruit so there is lots of these to enjoy this week. The red and orange bell peppers will be back soon as more ripen! The first planting of zucchini and cucumbers has been pulled from the field as they were ending production so we will be without these vegetables for a week or two. However, I do have a smaller planting of each that should be ready soon and take us through to the first frost (which is only about a month away!). I was peaking under the row covers of our fall crops and they are looking great. The fall cabbages are forming heads, the brussel sprouts have tiny sprouts on them, and the arugula and winter radish are growing nicely.
