Funky Ferments Brine Pickles Naturally fermented dill pickles are a delicious and crunchy addition to your summer BBQ.
2020 Pastured Chicken Our meat birds are all back from the processors and we have a variety of cuts for you to choose from. Our chickens are fed a non-gmo feed and have full access to an organic pasture. The following cuts are available:
- Whole Chickens, various sizes
- Spatchcock Chickens, various sizes. Spatchcocked chickens are perfect for the BBQ or oven because they cook faster, ensure even cooking, and crisp all the skin.
- Pieced Chicken Pack, includes: 4 boneless skinless breasts, 4 thighs, 4 drumsticks, 8 wing pieces, and 2 carcasses (perfect for stock or soup). All are individually vacuum sealed so you can thaw as many as you need at a time.
- Chicken Feet, 2lb bag. For the bone broth enthusiast, chicken feet are a great source of gelatin for your broth.
3lb Chicken Drumstick Special We also are having a special on our drumsticks from our previous batch of chickens. 3lbs of drumsticks is approx. 12 drumsticks.
On the vegetable front, our summer crops are still going strong while several fall crops will be making their appearances soon. Almost everything for the year has been planted except a second planting of fall arugula and more salad mix. I've been busy prepping the beds that are now empty for next season, with the help of Terran. Terran is my main compost/manure hauler and he's been busy spreading wheelbarrow loads to ensure great fertility for next year.
