Good Evening Farm Share Friends!
We certainly enjoyed the rain and cooler weather of the past week. It has been a welcome relief. We are watching things ripen in the fields and are looking forward to the approaching fall when we spend much of our farm energy squirrelling roots and fruits into our storage to carry us through the winter months at market. Fall harvest has a certain excitement that we enjoy, and when we are finished, the sense of completion is wonderful!
We have been discussing how to proceed with a modified fall farm share, and are considering a four week extension for those of you that would like to continue your seasonal eating journey with us. We will need to reserve time and energy to bring our winter crops in, so we will likely offer a reduced amount of shares, delivered to one or two of our current locations. We will also likely offer one size box in order to make it more cost effective to pack and deliver the shares. We will be sure to let you know just what we've decided the moment we figure it out.
